The successful candidate will engage with planning authorities, prepare reports for council committees, and contribute to strategic planning projects with a view to delivering resilient communities.

Responsibilities

• To prepare and implement development plan documents and report to the Council committees.
• To consider national planning policy and development plans from adjoining authorities and assess implications for the Council.
• Interacting with Planning Authorities in matters related to development plans, variations, etc.
