Fehily Timoney & Co seeks a Senior Environmental Engineer - Civil and Environmental Engineering to join our Circular Economy and Environment team, with offices in Cork, Dublin or Carlow. You will lead design work planning, CAD documentation and coordinate with project engineers and technicians.

We require at least 8 years post-graduate experience, a degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, and proven project management, with strong communication and team collaboration.

Fehily Timoney and Company (FT) is one of Ireland's largest indigenous consultancies specialising in Sustainable Infrastructure, Circular Economy, Environment, Energy and Renewables. FT is a Circular Economy and Environmental consultancy specialist providing solutions for waste and resource management for our clients. The company is recognised for its expertise in waste prevention, minimisation, recycling, energy recovery, and residual disposal. FT delivers consultancy services to a broad range of public and private sector clients in the solid waste, bio-waste, and sludge management industries. FT is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer - Civil and Environmental Engineering to join our Circular Economy and Environment team, based in our Cork, Dublin, or Carlow offices. This position is a key part of our growing business and involves close collaboration with a team of experienced professionals. We are looking for candidates with at least 8 years of relevant experience. The successful applicant will become part of an established and reputable company, with opportunities to further develop both technical expertise and managerial capabilities. This role also provides a defined pathway for career progression to the level of Principal Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the planning and management of design work and CAD documentation, in close collaboration with Project Engineers and Engineering Technicians
• Participating in on-site meetings with clients and other professionals
• Ensuring adherence to the company's Quality Assurance and Management Systems
• Complying with all relevant health and safety regulations
• Coordinating activities and deliverables with other members of the project team

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• Minimum of 8 years of post-graduate professional experience
• Proven experience in project management
• Energetic and self-motivated professional
• Strong communication, organisational and analytical skills
• Demonstrated experience in liaising with external stakeholders, clients, and sub-contractors
• Flexible, collaborative, and an effective team player
• Capable of working efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Possesses a full, clean valid driving licence
• Experience in the design for anaerobic digestion facilities, solid waste management facilities or public realm is desirable
