Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Senior EH&S Specialist to lead Environmental programmes, ensuring regulatory and corporate compliance and serving as advisor to site teams on EH&S matters.

The role focuses on managing IE Licence obligations, 100% regulatory compliance, and reporting to EPA and corporate teams. You will drive abatement system improvements, oversee the wastewater lab, and manage the environmental budget in a fast-paced pharma environment.

Qualifications

• A relevant third level qualification in Environmental, Science, Engineering or EH&S.

Responsibilities

• Manage all environmental matters relating to the IE Licence and EPA monitoring.
• Ensure 100% site compliance with legislation and J&J EHS standards (Environmental and DG).
• Prepare internal and external EHS reports including EPA IE Licence reporting.
• Own site abatement systems and lead improvements to wastewater treatment and carbon abatement.
• Monitor calibration and sampling as per Licence and requirements; manage Environmental budget.
• Oversee wastewater laboratory operations and Total Waste Management contracts.
