Workday, Inc. is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer for its Enterprise Security Engineering team in Ireland. You will own detection telemetry, SaaS configuration drift, and asset-control verification, while guiding associate and mid-level engineers.

You will build automation, runbooks, and threat containment pipelines across Windows and macOS fleets. You will mentor engineers, tailor incident response playbooks, and help shape the security posture of AI tools and developer integrations.

Competenze

• 7+ years of hands-on cybersecurity engineering experience in enterprise environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• At least one credential such as CISSP, GIAC (GSEC/GCED/GCIA/GCIH/GDSA), CompTIA Security+, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with EDR/SSPM/CAASM/EPM or Application Control across enterprise tooling.
• Scripting in Python/PowerShell/Bash/Go with REST API experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication translating telemetry into guidance.

Mansioni

• Bridge strategic architecture and operational delivery for detection telemetry and asset control.
• Own SaaS configuration drift, policy baseline, and escalation support for engineers.
• Develop oversight, sensor health monitoring, and detection tuning across the EDR estate.
• Remediate SaaS configuration drift and privileged account anomalies in SSPM.
• Advance CAASM through queries, dashboards, and alerts for full asset coverage.
• Implement runtime guardrails for developer AI tools and IDE integrations.
