Job summary

Protex AI Limited is building Site Intelligence to connect cameras, enterprise systems and operational knowledge for real-time operational understanding. As Head of Computer Vision Features, you will lead a multidisciplinary team, ship features end-to-end, and shape the technical direction across edge and cloud deployments.

You will drive delivery from idea to production, mentor engineers, collaborate with product managers, and ensure fast, reliable releases on edge devices while embodying

Qualifications

• 3+ years of people management within engineering.
• 5+ years of software/ML engineering experience with CV systems in production.
• Hands-on experience with deep learning for computer vision and edge deployment.
• Strong Python skills; experience building data/training/deployment pipelines on cloud.
• Ability to set technical direction and lead architecture discussions.
• BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead, hire, coach and grow a multidisciplinary CV/edge engineering team.
• Set technical direction for computer vision at Protex; balance CV advances with edge constraints.
• Ship with the team: design, code, review; enforce testing and reproducibility.
• Scope work with product managers; manage delivery from idea to deployment.
• Lead urgent fixes when detection quality drops at client sites.
• Improve development workflows and release processes for edge devices.
• Uphold company values: urgency, excellence, agency, care.
