Job summary

The Cairn Group in North Dublin is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to lead on-site delivery, health and safety, and quality assurance across a major project.

You will review design drawings, coordinate subcontractors, manage programme delivery, and ensure compliance with Building Regulations and BCAR. The role offers a competitive package with CPD opportunities and a strong focus on teamwork and delivering on time and on budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' work experience.
• HETAC Level 8 Engineering qualification.
• Good spoken and written communication skills.
• Methodical, pay attention to detail and be accurate.
• Able to coordinate multiple projects and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Own the management of Health and Safety on the project.
• Review and comment on design drawings and raise RFIs as necessary.
• Lead Design Team Meetings and track design issues to close them.
• Coordinate subcontractors to meet testing and commissioning timelines.
• Ensure works comply with Building Regulations and standards, with on-site QA.
