Job summary

Stryker Corporation is seeking a Senior Engineer, Manufacturing, on a permanent basis in Ireland. The role provides advanced engineering support for manufacturing areas and projects, focusing on process improvement, Six-Sigma methods, and GMP-compliant documentation.

You will guide technicians and engineers, oversee new product introductions, and lead cross-functional projects to deliver robust line performance.

Qualifications

• Level 8 Honours Degree in an Engineering discipline.
• 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven Project Management skills.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with internal and external agents.
• Capable of working as part of a multi-disciplined team.
• Demonstrable analytical & problem solving skills, a process improvement orientation, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent presentation and written / verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing a world class manufacturing group with Six-Sigma tools.
• Monitor line performance and implement structured event plans to remediate systemic issues.
• Develop and implement SOPs and process work instructions in GMP compliance.
• Lead technical improvements under CIP.
• Provide technical leadership for Process / Maintenance Technicians and other Manufacturing Engineers.
• Support new product and process introductions following the NPD process.
• Perform process validation (VP, IQ, OQ, PQ) and related documentation.
• Manage projects (value stream and cross-functional) from scoping to handover.

# **Senior Engineer, Manufacturing****(Permanent)** **Position Summary** The senior Engineer will provide advanced technical and engineering support to a project or function. This engineer will have the required engineering competencies and systems training to support a manufacturing area or project.## **What you will do:*** ## Responsible for assisting in the development of a world class-manufacturing group that is proficient in process improvement and problem solving manufacturing issues using Six-Sigma tools.* ## Line performance monitoring, and the compilation and execution of structured event plans to remediate systemic issues that drive sub-optimal performance.* ## Development and implementation of appropriate supporting documentation, SOPs and process work instructions compliant with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)* ## Leading technical improvements under the business’s Continuous Improvement Program (CIP).* ## Provision of technical leadership/guidance for the Process / maintenance Technicians and other Manufacturing / Equipment Engineers on the team.* ## Provide engineering support for new Product and new process introduction, ensuring that all activities are completed and documented in accordance with Stryker New product Development Process.* ## Process validation for products and processes; VP, IQ, OQ, PQ and associated documentation.* ## Responsibility for projects (value stream and cross functional) as assigned by the company, including the scoping, approval, budgeting, specification, execution, qualification and operational handover as appropriate.## ## What you will need:**Required*** Level 8 Honours Degree in an Engineering discipline.* 2 plus years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.* Proven Project Management skills through the delivery of business critical projects.* Strong communication and influencing skills with both internal and external agents.**Desired*** Capable of working as part of a multi-disciplined team in an aggressive, dynamic and results motivated environment* Demonstrable analytical & problem solving skills, a process improvement orientation, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment* Excellent presentation and written / verbal communication skills* Demonstrable ability to work autonomously**Ireland Pay Ranges:*** **Ireland**: €47,000 - €77,000 EUR AnnualAt Stryker, we believe transparency helps candidates make confident decisions about their next career step.
