Job summary

EM3, based in Limerick, is seeking a Principal Energy Consultant to lead large industrial energy projects and advise senior clients on energy strategy. You will direct audits, feasibility studies, M&V reporting and decarbonisation efforts across global sites.

With 7+ years in energy consulting, you will mentor junior staff, manage stakeholders, and help clients achieve ISO50001 compliance while identifying grant opportunities and innovative energy solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Energy Management or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 7+ years in energy consulting for industrial sectors.
• Certifications such as CEA, CEM, CMVP or similar are desirable.
• Experience with ISO50001 and energy audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex energy audits and climate action strategies.
• Produce feasibility studies, M&V reports, energy design reviews.
• Provide expert advice on energy efficiency and renewable solutions.
• Manage client relationships and ensure high satisfaction.
• Mentor junior consultants and guide project execution.
