Job summary

EM3 is seeking a Senior Energy Manager to lead energy management services across multiple industrial client sites in Ireland. You will combine technical expertise with strategic insight to identify, develop and implement energy-saving initiatives that cut costs and support sustainability targets.

The role requires hands-on delivery, client engagement, and mentoring of junior engineers. Hybrid work in Limerick with travel as needed, and a clear path for career development within EM3’s growing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Energy Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• Professional certification in energy management (e.g., CEM, CEA) is advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in energy management, consultancy, or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Lead energy management delivery across a portfolio of industrial client sites.
• Conduct energy audits and analyse consumption patterns to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Develop and implement energy management strategies aligned with client operations and sustainability targets.
• Design and support the implementation of energy management systems (ISO 50001).
• Establish site-level energy flows and energy performance baselines.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
