Analog Devices is seeking a Staff AI/ML Embedded ML/DSP Systems Engineer to lead real-time audio AI system development across industrial automation, data centers, and wearables. You will bridge hardware and software, delivering scalable solutions and mentoring teams.

Qualifications

• Masters/PhD in Electrical Engineering, signal processing, or related field.
• 6+ years in audio/speech processing within a semiconductor environment, with significant hands-on deployment on DSP/NPU platforms.
• Expertise in fixed-point algorithms, PTQ/QAT quantization, and cycle-level optimization for constrained processors.
• Strong working knowledge of simulation-to-RTL flows: bit-exact modeling and RTL co-simulation with design teams.
• Proficiency in C (embedded/firmware), Python, MATLAB, and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow/TFLite, PyTorch/ONNX).
• Experience with low-level profiling tools, ISA understanding, and memory optimization for embedded AI inference.

Responsibilities

• Architect and optimize end-to-end deployment pipelines for audio AI models on DSP/NPU targets.
• Define and drive DSP/NPU partitioning strategies balancing workload, memory, latency, and power.
• Own simulation-to-RTL validation flows and collaborate with RTL teams on verification.
• Implement and optimize signal processing and neural network kernels for fixed-point DSP and NPU instructions.
• Profile and optimize inference performance under always-on, real-time constraints for hearable devices.
• Design and maintain model quantization workflows (PTQ, QAT) with quality tracking.
• Develop algorithms for array processing, beamforming, and spatial filtering from prototypes to deployable code.
• Contribute to audio ASIC system architecture decisions based on deployment requirements.
• Generate IPs and mentor teams in deployment best practices.
