Job summary

Stem Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer for Mullingar/Midlands with a hybrid work pattern. The role focuses on delivering electrical projects from enquiry through handover, requiring strong technical credibility and customer-facing skills.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3–10 years' electrical engineering experience in industrial, manufacturing or utility environments.
• Ideally at least 3 years' Project Engineering / Project Management experience with ownership of electrical delivery.
• Full project lifecycle experience from planning through handover.
• Experience on large, technically demanding sites; multinational manufacturing exposure is relevant.
• Strong LV electrical knowledge and ability to interpret drawings and customer requirements.
• Proven customer-facing experience with stakeholder communication.
• Level 8 Electrical Engineering qualification preferred; alternative technical routes considered.
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical engineering projects from enquiry to handover.
• Manage full lifecycle including planning, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination.
• Develop scopes of work translating customer requirements into delivery plans.
• Coordinate internal design, workshop, and field service resources.
• Support site surveys, risk reviews, FAT/SAT, and commissioning planning.
• Own issues and drive projects to successful technical and commercial conclusions.
• Provide technical guidance for site-specific projects and review drawings and panel designs.
• Work with in-house design engineers and ensure LV knowledge with MV exposure considered.
