Egis is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical systems for water and wastewater infrastructure across Ireland. You will author specifications, control philosophies, and diagrams while supervising junior engineers and contributing to project delivery and business growth.
The role requires Chartered status or on-track within 12 months, ~7+ years' experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical and design platforms.

Design and develop electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and related infrastructure.
Author detailed technical specifications, control philosophies, cable/load schedules, network diagrams, and technical reports.
Review MCC schematics, contractor calculations, and PLC/SCADA architectures; close design gaps, issue technical submittals, and respond to RFIs.
Prepare technical submittals; assist FAT, SAT, QA/QC walk‑downs, and commissioning Supervise junior team members and review work items, providing mentorship, ensuring quality standards are met, and fostering professional development within the team.
Developing electrical design proposal and contributing to business development in the electrical sector.
