Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering is seeking a Senior Authorised Person for Leinster. The role focuses on leading electrical activities, coordinating with site management and commissioning teams to ensure safe, on-time project delivery, while upholding quality standards.

The candidate will mentor technicians, review specifications, and liaise with control system providers for handover, contributing to safe energisation of MV/LV systems and adherence to safety rules.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in Electrical/Building Services or Electrical Trade with relevant training
• 5+ years in similar electrical contracting roles across commercial, industrial, pharma, data centre projects
• Commercial awareness and the ability to multi-task

Responsibilities

• Engages with Site Management using the agreed Electrical Safe Systems of Work Procedure
• Structured mentoring/workshops with testing & commissioning technicians per project plan
• Ensures all workplace personnel are aware of and comply with Electrical Safe Systems of Work
• Reviews project specs/drawings to extract requirements
• Co-ordinates with control system providers (SCADA/BMS/EMS) for system handover
