Job summary

Watlow in Ireland is hiring a Senior Environmental Health and Safety Specialist for a fully on-site role at a leading semiconductor facility. You will conduct site walks, risk assessments and toolbox talks, drive safety improvements and ensure compliance with HSA reporting where required.

The role requires a degree in Health & Safety (NFQ Level 7+), at least 3 years’ EHS experience, Safe Pass and a commitment to working on-site in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Health & Safety (NFQ Level 7 or above).
• Minimum 3 years’ EHS experience in manufacturing or construction.
• Good knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation and compliance.
• Valid Safe Pass and related safety training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site walks, inspections and risk assessments on a live fab floor.
• Deliver safety training, toolbox talks and update site procedures.
• Oversee heights safety, ladder checks and harness use compliance.
• Manage PPE purchasing and liaise with the customer on updates.
• Investigate incidents and prepare formal reports to authorities.
