Job summary

Ankura is seeking a Director in Dublin to manage and guide junior team members to align with client objectives and ensure on-time, high-quality deliverables in our eDiscovery and Risk Advisory practice.

You will design efficient workflow solutions, educate clients, develop collection strategies, coordinate forensics, and lead business development across national and international engagements. Travel is expected as engagements require.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; preferred in engineering, computer science, finance, accounting, economics, information technology, forensics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Generate leads and develop relationships with legal practitioners for Ankura's eDiscovery and Risk Advisory services.
• Educate clients and prospects about Ankura's services through visits, conferences, and events.
• Increase revenue by cross-selling services and maintaining a CRM database of prospects and pipeline activities.
• Coordinate forensic collections and pre-processing workflows with Ankura's forensics team.
• Advise on data reduction strategies and coordinate processing work with Ankura's team.

You will ensure the execution of critical project deliverables to ensure these objectives are met on time and with the highest quality. You will be responsible for designing and executing efficient and innovative workflow solutions to address our client’s issues. This role is based in our Dublin office.Responsibilities:Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, the following:Generate leads and develop relationships with legal practitioners for Ankura's eDiscovery and Risk Advisory services.Educate clients and prospects about Ankura's services through visits, conferences, and events.Increase revenue by cross-selling services and maintaining a CRM database of prospects and pipeline activities.Participate in industry conferences and maintain post-sales contact for quality assurance and future business.Assist clients in managing data relevant to litigation and business operations, and develop collection strategies.Coordinate forensic collections and pre-processing workflows with Ankura's forensics team.Advise on data reduction strategies and coordinate processing work with Ankura's team.Assist clients in selecting technology and developing review strategies for various tiers of review and trial preparation.Provide guidance on production format and timelines, manage project finances, and ensure proper project close-out.Support documentation of processes and mentor junior colleagues, while participating in recruiting and supervising personnel.Requirements:Minimum of a bachelor’s degree. Preferred degree in engineering, computer science, finance, accounting, economics, information technology, forensics, data analytics, or work experience in a related field.Demonstrable work experience within an eDiscovery team, ideally gained in Big 4 or a mid-tier consulting firm.Possess strong quantitative and qualitative research and analytical skills.Familiar with the EDRM and experience in using eDiscovery products / tools:eDiscovery Review/Processing Platforms: Relativity, Brainspace, Disco, Ringtail, Catalyst, Zylab, Everlaw, CasePoint, Nuix, Law, Eclipse, or comparable.Forensic Software: EnCase, Cellebrite, Oxygen, BlackBag, FTK.Database/Programming: Microsoft SQL Server, SQL, Microsoft Access, Visual Basic, Python, R.Email Systems: Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes/Domino, eVault, email archive platforms.System administration experience in Microsoft, Linux/Unix, or MacintoshCore consulting skillsHold strong team-oriented personality characteristics: hard-working, thoughtful, and collaborative, with a positive outlook and confidence.Experience of managing individuals or small teams with strong people skills.Highly motivated, eager to learn and able to motivate others.Ability to utilise technology to solve complex problems.Ability to demonstrate excellent communication (written and verbal) and organisational skills.Ability to adapt quickly in handling multiple/evolving tasks as a result of new engagements and/or re-prioritised deadlines.Ability to produce high quality and/or final work product under strict deadlines.Willing to travel nationally and internationally, which could involve a few weeks at a time as engagement duration can range from a week to months.Ankura is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
