Job summary

Gartner is seeking a Senior Director to lead in the BTI group, engaging CIOs with must-have insights and provocative market perspectives. The role focuses on research leadership, content development, and client advisory across academia, research, and higher education sectors.

Travel up to 25% is expected, with hybrid work arrangements. You will develop thought leadership, deliver presentations at Gartner events, and mentor team members while collaborating across global teams to advance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; graduate degree preferred.
• 12+ years of relevant field experience.
• Technology leadership in academia or advisory roles with exposure to complex research institutions.
• Strong understanding of AI approaches, IT strategy, data management and stakeholder engagement.
• Executive presence and credibility with executives and stakeholders.
• Excellent research and writing abilities; strong analytical and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative, must-have insights content and thought leadership.
• Develop in-depth analyses to identify root causes and drive strategy.
• Provide actionable client guidance via virtual or on-site interactions.
• Deliver high-value presentations for Gartner events and client briefings.
• Support BTI and Sales with voice of the market to drive engagement.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate across a multicultural global team.
