Job summary

Gartner is seeking a Senior Director within the Business and Technology Insights group to shape application security thought leadership and deliver must‑have insights for world‑leading organizations. You will engage CIOs and senior IT leaders, develop go‑to‑market content, and present at Gartner events and client briefings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; graduate degree preferred.
• 12+ years of relevant experience in application security, enterprise applications, or IT leadership.
• Extensive knowledge in working with CIOs and senior business leaders on security strategy and delivering business value.
• Ability to articulate the role of security technologies in delivering business value.
• Experience organizing and leading application security teams and programs.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative, thought-provoking, high-impact security insights content.
• Develop new insights through thought leadership to meet client needs.
• Lead in-depth analyses to identify root causes and drive strategy.
• Demonstrate thought leadership and establish insights positions across teams.
• Provide actionable advice and presentations for Gartner events and client briefings.
• Support BTI and Sales with market voice to drive client engagement and growth.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate across global teams.
