Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Senior Analyst, OTC Derivatives to support accurate accounting and lifecycle management of OTC derivative products across client portfolios. You will collaborate with internal teams and clients to resolve complex derivative issues and enhance operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 applications.
• A relevant business, finance or financial services qualification, or progress towards one.

Responsibilities

• Ensure OTC derivative transactions are accurately captured, processed and accounted for at each valuation point.
• Monitor and manage derivative lifecycle events, including resets, settlements, close-outs, corporate actions, dividend events.
• Investigate and resolve operational exceptions, discrepancies and valuation-related issues.
• Support onboarding of new clients, funds and OTC derivative products and respond to client inquiries.
• Escalate complex issues and support audits and control reviews.
