Job summary

Meili is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own end-to-end data pipelines and the Snowflake analytics layer used by commercial, partnerships and product teams. You will ingest data from our platform and partners, model it for reliable querying, and ensure data quality with lineage and tests.

You will partner with cross-functional colleagues to translate vague questions into robust data models, implement engineering standards, and mentor teammates as the platform evolves in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Substantial production data pipelines and warehouse models ownership.
• Strong SQL fluency with window functions and tuning; Snowflake experience is a plus.
• Proficient Python for data engineering tasks including ingestion and testing.
• Experience with data modeling and architecture to serve business queries.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain data pipelines and ingestion from multiple sources.
• Extend and document the modelled analytics layer in Snowflake for business use.
• Implement data quality checks, lineage and observability into the platform.
• Collaborate with commercial, partnerships and product teams to translate needs into durable data models.
• Establish and enforce data engineering standards including version control, CI/CD and testing.
