Job summary

Bloomberg in Dublin seeks a Senior Data Engineer to advance OTC Composite pricing and instruments data. You will design and implement data ingestion, pipelines, and analytics to support 200+ markets and 100k+ instruments across FX, IR derivatives, and CDS.

You will collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver scalable data solutions. You will leverage programming, ML, and human-in-the-loop approaches to ensure data is fit-for-purpose and of high quality, while engaging with

Qualifications

3+ years of experience with databases and SQL.
Experience handling extremely large data volumes.
Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL, and dimensional modeling.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS, Math, or related field.
Experience developing data quality metrics within a data architecture.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain robust ETL data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and loading of large data sets.
Analyze internal processes to identify improvements and engineer efficient workflows using programmatic ML approaches.
Set up rules and visualizations to ensure data accuracy, timeliness, and completeness.
Collaborate with data partners to create data manipulation frameworks and standard methodologies.
Apply project management skills to keep technical projects on track and well scoped.
