Job summary

RapidRatings is seeking a data engineering lead to design and deliver data-enablement solutions on the AWS stack in a hybrid role based in Dublin, Ireland. You will own the Redshift warehouse, ELT services, and the QuickSight layer, coordinating with stakeholders to deliver reliable data pipelines and AI-enabled capabilities.

You will mentor engineers, implement data governance, and ensure high data quality across business-critical marts while balancing cost and performance in a dynamic fintech

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and delivering data warehouse solutions on AWS.
• Proficient in SQL; strong data modelling and ETL/ELT skills.
• Knowledge of data governance, PII handling and RBAC.

Responsibilities

• Design & operate the AWS data warehouse and ELT processes across staging, intermediate, and mart layers.
• Run and optimize the AWS analytics stack (Glue, S3, Athena, Redshift, QuickSight).
• Orchestrate, monitor, and observe batch/ELT pipelines and data quality.
• Own production data quality for critical data marts and report status to stakeholders.
• Apply governance and privacy controls for data pipelines and dashboards.
• Build semantic/metrics layer to support GenAI capabilities and analytics tooling.
