Job summary

Irving Oil in Ireland seeks a Senior Cyber Security Specialist to join the IT Security and Compliance team, interfacing with leadership and Irish assets. You will translate IT-risk into business terms, develop controls, and report on security performance.

The role covers risk assessments, third‑party risk, insider threat, and implementing PCI-DSS, NIS Directive, and other standards across Ireland.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT experience with 5+ years in information security.
• Technical bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• Cyber Security Certifications: CISSP, CISM, GIAC, CRISK.
• Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead cyber risk programs for Ireland assets including Whitegate refinery and Top Oil IT.
• Coordinate vulnerability management, risk assessments and controls.
• Interface with IT security leadership and external auditors for compliance.
• Develop metrics and reporting for ongoing security performance.
