Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies Ireland Limited is seeking a CPU RTL Design Engineer to define and implement high-performance, low-power CPU IP blocks. You will collaborate with chip architects to shape micro-architecture and architectures early in the product life-cycle.

You will own RTL development, verification, and timing/power analysis, working with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable designs for world-class products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/PhD in engineering fields with ASIC focus required.
• Strong knowledge of microarchitecture and RTL design.
• Experience with Verilog and VHDL and scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Perform performance exploration with CPU modelling team.
• Develop microarchitecture specifications and RTL.
• Own RTL design to meet power, performance, area and timing goals.
• Support functional and performance verification activities.
• Contribute to design delivery across cross-functional teams.
