Compensation: up to 85k basic plus benefits (pension, bonus, 25 days AL)

Our client, a leading manufacturer, is keen to welcome an experienced Cost Accountant to join their growing Finance team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries to support accurate & timely financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, participating in month-close activities
• Margin variance and risk analysis, monitoring variances to standard cost and investigate significant differences
• Calculate standard costing of products in SAP, driving consistency and standardization of cost accounting
• Finance lead on costing process improvement projects and providing guidance on customer pricing simulations
• Business partner with stakeholders of all levels of the business (internal/external)
• Audit and ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 5 years’ PQE in cost accounting, ideally a manufacturing background
• Self-motivated and ability to work on own initiative
• Knowledge of lean initiatives and ability to drive continuous improvement
• Advanced Excel skills, knowledge of Power BI for intelligence reporting
• Familiarity with SAP and IFRS an advantage
