Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Lead Contracts Manager in Cork to support major pharmaceutical and life sciences capital projects. You will lead procurement, contract administration, change management, and commercial negotiations within an integrated Owner’s Representative team.

You will oversee contracts from prequalification through construction close-out, ensuring value delivery while protecting the client’s commercial interests across a portfolio of high-value investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Commercial Management or a related discipline.
• Professional membership with relevant bodies is desirable.
• Procurement, contract management or commercial management certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement and contracting activities for major pharmaceutical CAPEX projects.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project objectives.
• Prepare and manage RFPs, tender documentation, bid evaluations and contract awards.
• Lead commercial and contractual negotiations with contractors, consultants, suppliers and vendors.
• Draft, administer and manage construction, engineering, equipment supply and service contracts.
• Act as primary point of contact for commercial and contractual matters on assigned projects.
