Job summary

Clancy is seeking a Project Manager for Cork to lead delivery across healthcare, commercial and residential sectors. You will drive safety, quality, and schedule performance while coordinating with consultants, subcontractors and clients.

The role requires a Civil/Structural or Construction Management degree and 5+ years of experience. You will oversee project teams, budgets, risk, and documentation to ensure client satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering / Construction Management or a related discipline.
• 5 years' + experience in healthcare / commercial / residential construction - ideally with a main/specialist contractor.
• Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the construction industry and project execution.
• Strong knowledge of Safety management and Quality management systems and practices.
• Excellent communication skills - fluent English; team player with ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Ability to lead with confidence, mentor and motivate colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Positively drive towards an embedded HS&E culture, focusing on safety.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, QS and the workforce.
• Lead all aspects of Project Team functions (PEP, risk, commercial success, financials, QA/QC, stakeholders).
• Compile and implement the Project Execution Plan, with reference to HSE & Quality plan.
• Prepare contract reports and update monthly cost meetings with QS.
• Plan, organise, direct activities concerned with construction of structures, facilities, and systems.
• Develop project plans and schedules and ensure delivery, cost, quality and client satisfaction.
