Job summary

BCL Legal Limited is seeking an experienced Construction Associate in Dublin (Hybrid) to advise on a broad range of non-contentious construction matters. The role suits an Associate or Senior Associate with 4–7 years PQE, handling contracts, negotiations, and cross-border projects for employers, contractors, and consultants.

You will work with international offices, draft complex agreements, and contribute to high-profile infrastructure developments in Ireland, the UK, and beyond.

Qualifications

• Ideally 4-7 years PQE with non-contentious construction law experience.
• Experience advising employers, contractors, sub-contractors, or consultants across Irish and international markets.
• Excellent drafting, communication, and commercial negotiation skills, with a practical, client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating standard form and bespoke construction contracts, sub-contracts, professional appointments, guarantees, and collateral warranties.
• Advising key industry stakeholders on non-contentious construction legal matters across diverse sectors.
• Supporting clients through complex domestic and cross-border infrastructure and construction developments.
• Collaborating closely with partners and team members across international offices to deliver seamless legal advice.
