Job summary

Clio is seeking a Senior Compliance Analyst to join its Compliance team in the UK and Ireland. This hybrid role requires you to work from the Manchester or Dublin offices at least two days a week, reporting to the Senior Manager, Compliance within the Security team in Engineering.

You will design and automate Clio’s control programs, audit and report on compliance readiness, and collaborate with Engineering, IT and business stakeholders to manage risk and privacy considerations.

Qualifications

  • Security or Audit certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISM).
  • Experience with GRC programs, audits, and vendor risk management.
  • Familiarity with information security principles and IT processes (change management).
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement control automation initiatives within Clio’s compliance program.
  • Audit and report on the compliance program state; coordinate internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate with engineering, IT and business teams to align practices with compliance goals.
  • Develop metrics to measure program effectiveness and efficiency; drive adoption of changes.

This is a hybrid role: if you live near our Manchester or Dublin offices, you'll be in the office at least two days a week.You'll report to our Senior Manager, Compliance, within the Security team in Engineering. You'll help grow and automate Clio's compliance program as our products expand and we pursue third-party attestations like SOC 2 and ISO 27001. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to build and improve a program, not just maintain one. You'll partner with Engineering, IT and teams across the business to manage risk, support responsible AI and product innovation, answer customer compliance questions, and build good compliance habits across Clio.What You’ll Be Doing:Designing and implementing Clio’s control automation initiativesOngoing auditing and reporting on Clio’s compliance program stateWorking on cross-functional technology and business stakeholders to develop practices and outcomes that are aligned with our compliance objectivesCreate metrics and track program effectiveness and efficiencyLead the discussion and strategize effective adoption of changes that may affect ClioParticipating in gap assessments, compliance readiness, and compliance monitoringMaintenance, support, and reporting on the Risk Management programWorking with the Privacy Program Manager to identify and resolve privacy compliance issues within the productCollaborating cross-functionally with technology and business stakeholders to discover, track, and resolve impact assessments and ensure effective security practicesLeading or conducting internal compliance assessments and coordinating external compliance auditsUnderstanding where compliance requirements should be met, and where we must exceedWeigh in on the vendor risk management processMentor junior team members to assist in leveling-up the team’s depth of knowledge and capabilitiesWhat you bring:Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skillsSecurity or Audit Certifications such as CISSP, CISM and/or CISAFamiliarity with Information Security principles, knowledge of IT processes (e.g. Change Management)Strong product and project ownership skillsVendor Management, Incident Management, Risk Assessment/Management, Data Privacy OperationsExcellent analytical and research skills with strong attention to detailPrevious experience with GRC or compliance tools (e.g. OneTrust, Standard Fusion, Drata, Vantai, ZenGRC, Fusion Framework, Securiti.ai ,)Interested or passionate in process automationAbility to balance priorities of multiple tasks advancing at varying ratesCuriosity, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skillsWhat you will find here:Compensation is one of the main components of Clio’s Total Rewards Program.
