Deepgram seeks a seasoned commercial lawyer to join its lean legal team as the second commercial lawyer. You will bridge law and business strategy, closing high-impact enterprise deals and shaping novel commercial frameworks in a fast-growing AI company.

Based in the UK/EU, you will support UK/EU and APAC expansions, advise on privacy, IP, data licensing, and cross-border data transfers, and help scale our legal function with practical, actionable guidance.

Competenze

• JD, LLM, or equivalent law degree/qualification from an accredited institution and 5–12 years of experience in legal practice.
• Demonstrated strength in commercial transactions internationally, particularly UK/EU and APAC.
• Fluency in IP, privacy, data security, and data licensing; willing to learn rest.

Mansioni

• Structure, negotiate, and close enterprise deals, vendor and services agreements, data licenses, and marketing arrangements.
• Partner with sales and BD teams to move faster and smarter.
• Provide guidance on privacy, IP, data security, and AI-specific legal issues.
• Advance cross-border data transfer mechanisms (SCCs, adequacy decisions, BCRs) for voice data.
• Develop scalable legal processes, templates, and streamlined workflows.
