Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a senior onboarding professional to lead New Client Onboarding within the Implementation group. You will guide performance methodologies, manage data conversion activities, and coordinate cross-functional onboarding tasks with external and internal partners.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in financial services, excellent communication and analytical skills, and a proactive, collaborative mindset to ensure timely, accurate onboarding for new clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in financial services or equivalent, with project-based work.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with problem-solving and prioritization abilities.
• Experience identifying KPIs, dashboards and project metrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise on performance methodologies and data conversion to clients and internal teams.
• Serve as a point of contact with external investment managers and internal partners during onboarding.
• Support data conversion workstreams, guiding junior resources and ensuring accuracy.
• Coordinate system configuration, testing, and issue resolution with cross-functional teams.
• Develop onboarding methodology standards, procedures and templates, updating as needed.
• Communicate escalations to management and maintain status reporting.
