Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Senior Engineer - Civil Engineering to lead the delivery of major public realm and civic infrastructure projects in North Dublin/Meath. The role reports to the Contracts Manager/Director and requires strong site-based experience, with responsibility for managing engineering activities, site teams, subcontractors, programme and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering (Level 8 QQI or international equivalent)
• 8+ years post-graduate experience in civil engineering
• 3+ years in a project management or senior site management role
• Proven track record delivering civil/infrastructure projects on time and within budget
• Strong knowledge of Irish construction contracts (GCCC, NEC3/4, RIAI)
• Proficiency with Asta Powerproject or equivalent
• Experience managing multidisciplinary site teams and subcontractors
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Full clean driving licence
• Legal right to work in Ireland

Responsibilities

• Manage and support daily site operations across civil engineering works
• Coordinate multidisciplinary site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
• Monitor project progress, programme, quality, and resources
• Support Contracts Manager/Director to deliver projects on time and within budget
• Manage construction programmes using Asta Powerproject
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and stakeholders
• Support management of construction contracts and project documentation
• Resolve technical, construction, programme and contractual issues
• Ensure works meet design specifications, quality standards and H&S requirements
• Maintain accurate project records and provide progress updates
