Overview

INFORM3 Recruitment presents an opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to work on infrastructure, residential, commercial and industrial projects in Ireland, based in Limerick.

The client is seeking a candidate with 8+ years postgrad experience, preferably in a Consultancy role, with potential progression to associate director.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a Senior Civil Engineer on ongoing projects.
• Coordination and supervision of in-house teams for preparation of planning applications, tender and construction packages and reports.
• Attending meetings with key stakeholders including Clients and Design Teams.
• Maintaining a strong ethical approach to quality, safety and environmental protections.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong people skills with the ability to manage and encourage other design personnel.
• Identify new business opportunities for the company.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Level 8 Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng, MIEI / MICE or recognised equivalent).
• 8+ years experience in a Consulting Engineers practice on a range of civil and structural projects.
• Experience dealing with Irish Water applications.
• Track record in master-planning and delivery of roads and services infrastructure projects.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Confident in using Microsoft Office.
• Committed to CPD.
• Excellent numeracy skills.
• Full driving licence.
