Job summary

Global Professional Consultants in Dublin seeks a Civil Engineer with 7+ years’ experience to lead design and delivery of civil infrastructure, drainage, roads and site development across sectors. The role includes assisting with running the civil engineering team and mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, chartership or progress toward it, and strong proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, TEKLA, CAD-IT or equivalent software.

• Strong experience delivering civil projects in Ireland with knowledge of planning and approvals.

Job description

Civil Engineer with 7+ years’ experience required to join an established multidisciplinary consultancy in Dublin. The successful Civil Engineer will lead the design and delivery of civil infrastructure, drainage, roads and site development projects across residential, commercial, industrial and public sectors. The role will involve assisting with the running of the civil engineering team and mentoring junior engineers.

Sample Projects:

• Large-scale residential developments, including housing estates and apartment schemes - €20m-€40m.
• Commercial and mixed-use developments - office buildings, retail facilitates and drainage networks - €10m-€30m.
• Public realm and urban infrastructure projects €80m.

Requirements:

• Civil Engineer should have 7+ years’ experience.
• Strong experience delivering civil engineering projects in Ireland, with a thorough understanding of Irish planning, statutory approvals and industry process.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or in a related field.
• Chartership or actively working toward chartership status.
• Experience assisting with the management of a team and mentoring junior engineers.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit and TEKLA, CAD-IT, TEDDs or equivalent software’s.
