Job summary

ProSource in County Wexford is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to join a small firm. The role involves managing a portfolio of clients, performing bookkeeping, preparing accounts and handling VAT, PAYE and RCT returns. You will liaise directly with clients and ensure timely month-end processes.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years in an Irish practice, is proficient in Sage or Xero, and demonstrates strong attention to detail and independence in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience working within an Irish accountancy practice.
• Strong experience in bookkeeping and accounts preparation.
• Proven experience managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients.
• Proficient in accounting software such as Sage, Xero or similar.
• Strong knowledge of VAT, PAYE and RCT.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client deadlines.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
