Brilliant opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a 4 Partner firm in Dublin City Centre. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping with expertise in VAT, payroll processing, and management accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring timely compliance with regulations.
• Process payroll for multiple clients, including preparation of payslips, management of deductions, and compliance with tax regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of management accounts, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
• Reconcile bank accounts and ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and compliance purposes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in bookkeeping, with specific expertise in VAT and payroll.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
