Job summary

MSD Malaysia seeks an Associate Director for Bioprocess & Technical Engineering at our Dublin Biotech site to lead technical strategy, enable robust technology transfers, and advance scalable process engineering across the network. You will guide facility integration and drive disciplined engineering practices with external partners to ensure right-first-time delivery of biologics.

Qualifications

Bachelor-level degree in engineering, biological sciences, chemistry, biotechnology or related discipline.
10+ years of professional experience in engineering, manufacturing operations, process development or tech transfer.
5+ years direct biologics drug substance manufacturing experience with process engineering and tech transfers.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic technical direction for facility integration and process capability across Dublin and external partners.
Own technology transfer, process validation and lifecycle management for biologics drug substance
Coordinate cross-site investigations, root-cause analysis and CAPA within GMP framework.
Mentor engineers and scientists, fostering a collaborative, safe learning culture.
