A global, high-growth technology company is seeking an experienced Senior Benefits Specialist to join its Global People team on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a benefits professional who thrives in an international environment and enjoys balancing strategic initiatives with hands‑on execution.
In this role, you’ll serve as the regional expert for employee benefits across multiple EMEA countries, partnering with HR, Payroll, Finance, external vendors, and business leaders to deliver exceptional employee experiences while ensuring programs remain compliant, competitive, and operationally efficient.

What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert for employee benefits across EMEA.
- Manage benefits administration across programs including medical, life, disability, pension, wellness, paid leave, and vacation.
- Partner with employees, HR, Payroll, Finance, Procurement, and external vendors to resolve benefits questions and escalations.
- Lead annual benefits renewals while managing broker and vendor relationships.
- Ensure accurate eligibility, enrollments, billing, invoicing, reconciliations, and benefits reporting.
- Monitor regulatory changes and market trends to recommend compliant and competitive benefit offerings.
- Drive process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and employee experience.
- Develop employee communications and educational materials to improve understanding of available benefits.
- Support cross‑functional initiatives and regional projects throughout EMEA.
- Maintain clear documentation and provide regular project updates to key stakeholders.
What Success Looks Like
First 30 Days
- Build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Learn regional benefits programs and renewal schedules.
- Assess priorities and begin preparing renewal strategies.
Within 90 Days
- Independently manage recurring benefits administration and escalations.
- Recommend process improvements and operational enhancements.
- Become a trusted resource for regional stakeholders.
By the End of the Assignment
- Lead complex benefits initiatives across multiple countries.
- Successfully manage renewals and compliance activities.
- Leave behind scalable processes, documentation, and operational improvements that create lasting value.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience managing international employee benefits, preferably across multiple EMEA countries.
- Strong understanding of global benefits administration, compliance, and regional market practices.
- Experience managing vendors, brokers, consultants, and cross‑functional partnerships.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience handling benefits eligibility, enrollments, billing, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information for employees.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Fluent English required; additional European languages are a plus.

- Duration: 6‑month contract with potential extension based on business needs and performance
- Target Start: September 1, 2026
- Regional Coverage: Initial responsibility for benefits programs across Spain, France, Italy, Belgium, Luxembourg, Portugal, Bulgaria, the UAE, and Israel, with opportunities to support additional EMEA countries as business needs evolve.
