Job summary

National Vehicle Distribution is seeking a Senior Automotive Electrician to lead and mentor an electrical team responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing and maintaining complex electrical systems on heavy and standard fleet vehicles.

You will utilize advanced diagnostic tools, supervise quality control, and ensure compliance with safety standards while managing inventory and supporting technology upgrades.

Qualifications

QQI level 6 Motor mechanic qualification is required.
Minimum 5–7 years in automotive electrical systems, with diagnostics, repair and installations experience.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair electrical faults in heavy and standard fleet vehicles.
Install and configure electrical systems and electronics such as GPS, sensors, cameras, beacons and telematics.
Lead and mentor junior auto electricians and apprentices, ensuring safety and quality standards.
Maintain documentation of repairs, diagnostics and installations for auditing.
