Job summary

Mainline is seeking a Senior Authorised Person (Electrical) to join a dynamic project delivery team. You will work on large-scale power and ESB Framework projects, ensuring safety, compliance and efficient operation across Ireland.

Location is nationwide; sponsorship considered but relocation from overseas is not provided. 39-hour week, hourly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package are included. This role is restricted to candidates already located in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Only qualified Authorised Persons or PICWs will be considered.
• Supervisory experience of 33kV or higher live substations is essential.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English is required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all EHSQ policies and procedures.
• Work with site management on maintaining records, reports and equipment orders.
• Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Diagnose systems and faults using test equipment and hand tools.
• Connect cables to circuit breakers, transformers, CT/VT and other components.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits for safety and compatibility.
• Plan layout and installation of wiring, equipment and fixtures.
• Oversee assembly, installation and testing of electrical equipment.

Mainline is growing fast and are currently looking to hire a Senior Authorised Person (Electrical) to work on exciting multi-disciplinary and framework projects. The role presents a great opportunity for the right candidate. We are looking for people who will embrace the opportunity and progress with the business as it grows.

Your new role:

You will be part of an experienced project delivery team working on large-scale power and ESB Framework projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Comply with all EHSQ policies and procedures as required
• Work closely with the site management on such duties as maintainingrecords and files, preparing reports and ordering equipment
• Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards and ensure compliance
• Diagnose systems, equipment, and components, using test equipment andhand tools, to locate the cause of faults
• Connect cables to circuit breakers, transformers, CT/VT or othercomponents
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices to ensure compatibility andsafety of system
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures,based on job specifications
• Oversee the assembly, install, and test, of electrical equipment andcomponents

Qualifications, Skills, Attributes and Experience:

• Only qualified Authorised Persons or PICW's will be considered

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Excellent organisational skills
• Fluent in spoken and written English (TOEFL, IELTS, CAE, CPE orequivalent)
