Hays has been retained to recruit a Senior Architectural Technologist for a Midleton-based Architectural and Project Management company. This client has been in business for over 16 years and routinely manages multimillion euro projects.

Your new role

This position will place the successful candidate at the head of the client's design team, overseeing detailed design from a technical standpoint. Responsibilities include:

1. Managing design projects and overseeing technical detailing.
2. Managing the issue/receipt of drawing design information.
3. Liaising with the Client Design Team to clarify the scope of deliverables.
4. Generating and managing document and drawing output.
5. Generating and managing technical submittals and schedules.
6. Product detailing & interfacing with other components and materials.
7. Coordination with Mechanical, Electrical, and Process services.
8. Maintaining accurate records.
9. Attending site meetings as required.

What you'll need to succeed

• Level 8 Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Technology.
• 8+ years' experience working as an Architectural Technologist.
• Prior experience leading design teams is desirable.
• Extensive knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
