Job summary

G-P is seeking an Application Security engineer to support our security program across web platforms and AI/LLM systems. You will evaluate technologies, enforce AI security guidelines, and coordinate remediation with engineering teams. Responsibilities include threat modelling, vulnerability triage, and building automation using Python/Go.

Qualifications

• Education: BS (or higher) in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: 3+ years in application security with threat modeling, secure design reviews, code reviews, or pen-testing.
• Excellent communication and business acumen.
• Proficiency in coding/scripting languages (Python, Go).
• Web app pen-testing experience (CTFs, Bug Bounty).
• AWS security knowledge and engineering experience.
• Experience with developing or testing web app technologies.
• Nice to have security certifications (OSCP, OSWP, eCPPT, eWPT, Security+).
• Experience with Linux, Docker, Terraform, and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Participate in threat modeling for application and AI-driven architectures.
• Triage SCA/SAST/DAST/CSPM findings and provide vetted vulnerabilities to engineers.
• Support vulnerability management for networks and infrastructure.
• Coordinate remediation with engineering teams.
• Perform security assessments, reviews, and internal penetration tests.
• Support application security programs and security initiatives.
• Develop scripts/tools to automate security tasks (log analysis, patch management, incident detection).
• Build custom solutions to integrate security tools with existing systems (Python, JavaScript, Go).
