Job summary

Qualcomm is seeking Analog/Mixed-Signal design engineers to join their team in Cork, Ireland. The role involves design of integrated circuits for high-speed clocking IP, requiring strong circuit design skills and hands-on experience with latest technologies.

Ideal candidates will have a Master’s or PhD in Engineering or Science and at least 5 years of experience in analog mixed-signal design. The position offers numerous benefits including stock options and health insurance.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of transistor level analog mixed-signal design experience.
• Experience in designing op-amps, VCO, PLL, DLL, and FLL.
• Good understanding of signal integrity in high-speed wireline design.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop analog/mixed signal hard macros for high-speed clocking IP.
• Perform quality assurance procedures on developed hard macros.
• Create design specifications and behavioural models in Verilog.

Skills

Transistor-level analog mixed-signal design experience

Experience in SPICE simulators

Scripting to automate circuit design

Full-custom analog layout techniques

Excellent communication skills

Education
