Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong production-level frontend development experience in React and/or Python-based data-app frameworks (Streamlit or Dash).
• Component architecture, state management, and building maintainable applications.
• Experience integrating frontend with REST APIs and authentication, polling, and versioning.
• Familiarity with visualization libraries for interactive rendering (D3.js, deck.gl, Plotly).
• Understanding of Databricks Apps hosting and integration with React, Streamlit, and Dash.
• Advanced data visualization and interactive tooling for mixed technical audiences.
• SQL querying of governed data platforms (Unity Catalog or similar).
• Solid testing and CI/CD practices for frontend code.

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced, interactive visualization tooling for embeddings and model outputs.
• Create self-service applications for end users with API integration.
• Prototype future product versions and executive level demos.
• Develop internal tooling for AI teams to streamline product advancement.
• Integrate frontend with platform API layer, handling authentication and versioning.
• Collaborate with AI, data, and backend engineers to translate workflows into interfaces.
• Own frontend code quality, testing, and documentation.
