Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Senior UI Developer to join an AI product team building foundation model capabilities with enterprise impact. You will design and build frontend applications that turn complex model outputs into clear, interactive experiences for AI engineers, data scientists, and product teams.

You will own frontend development across internal tooling and external self-service tools, ensuring robust architecture, testing, and CI/CD alignment within Mastercard's standards.

Qualifications

• Frontend development experience in React or Python-based data-app frameworks.
• Ability to design maintainable component architectures and state management.
• Experience integrating frontend with REST APIs and handling auth/polling patterns.
• Strong data visualization capabilities with interactive tooling.
• Familiarity with Databricks Apps hosting and Unity Catalog integration.
• Ability to translate complex workflows into intuitive interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced, interactive visualization tooling for embeddings and model outputs.
• Develop self-service applications for end users with API integration.
• Create prototypes for future product versions and demos for executives.
• Build internal tooling to streamline AI team workflows.
• Maintain frontend code quality, structure, tests, and documentation.
