Senior AI Python Engineer (Agentic AI & LLM) – 6 Month Rolling Contract

Location: Dublin (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)

Contract Type: Rolling 6-month contract (large project with long-term requirements)

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join a newly expanded team at a global financial leader, focused on enterprise AI data management. This is a hands‑on role where you will design, build, and deploy production AI systems that will be used by millions of customers.

You will work on cutting‑edge AI capabilities including Agentic AI workflows, LLM integration, and RAG pipelines – all within a secure, regulated, enterprise‑scale environment.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build production RAG pipelines for enterprise document retrieval and knowledge management
• Develop Agentic AI workflows using LangGraph or similar frameworks
• Integrate LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, open‑source models) into backend services using FastAPI or Django
• Build and optimise vector search solutions using Pinecone, Weaviate, or similar
• Work with Python, SQLAlchemy, and PostgreSQL to manage structured and unstructured data
• Deploy and scale AI services on AWS (ECS, Lambda, S3, etc.)
• Collaborate with data engineers, platform teams, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise‑grade AI solutions

What We’re Looking For

• Strong commercial experience with Python and modern AI/LLM frameworks
• Hands‑on experience building RAG pipelines (retrieval, chunking, embedding, generation)
• Experience with Agentic AI and frameworks like LangGraph, LangChain, or AutoGen
• Understanding of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, or similar)
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services and containerisation (Docker)
• Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments is a strong plus
