Hollybank Trustees Ltd invites applications for the role of Activities Lead at Brídhaven Nursing Home, Mallow, Co. Cork.

The position focuses on promoting residents' social, emotional and recreational wellbeing through meaningful activities. The Activities Lead will plan and coordinate activities, working with residents, families and the multidisciplinary team to ensure activities are safe, inclusive and aligned to individual interests and abilities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the social care and activities programme within the home.
• Develop a varied programme of meaningful activities that promotes residents' independence, choice, wellbeing and quality of life.
• Ensure activities are person-centred, taking account of residents' interests, abilities and backgrounds.
• Encourage resident participation and identify opportunities to maintain hobbies or develop new ones.
• Organise group and individual activities, events, outings and seasonal celebrations.
• Collaborate with residents, families and the multidisciplinary team to enhance social wellbeing.
• Promote a positive and inclusive culture and lead by CARA Values.
