Sigmar Recruitment is assisting a Dublin-based accountancy practice in recruiting a Director or Senior Manager to lead a growing portfolio of SME and owner-managed clients. The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified, with 5+ years post-qualification experience in practice, strong advisory and audit skills, and proven leadership to mentor teams; hybrid working with two days from home is available.

You will act as a trusted adviser, oversee statutory accounts, and drive business development

Qualifikationen

• ACA or ACCA qualification with strong accountancy practice background.
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in SME accounting, audit and statutory accounts.
• Proven leadership and client relationship skills; business development.

Aufgaben

• Manage a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients.
• Act as the primary client contact and trusted business adviser.
• Oversee statutory accounts, accounting and client engagements.
• Identify opportunities across Audit, Tax, Advisory and Outsourcing.
• Lead client meetings and present financial insights.
• Manage, mentor and develop accountants and trainees.
• Oversee due diligence, business reviews and advisory assignments.
• Support company secretarial compliance and client projects.
• Assist with resource planning, billing, cash collection and WIP recovery.
• Contribute to accounting technology, cloud systems and AI adoption.
