Job summary

Collins McNicholas Recruitment is seeking a Senior Accountant/Manager for a key role based in Claremorris, Co Mayo. The position focuses on managing day-to-day office operations, supervising staff, and delivering client assignments with a strong emphasis on Irish taxation for farmers, businesses and companies.

You will develop and maintain client relationships, support strategic growth, and oversee personal and corporate tax returns while coordinating consultancy work.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with 7 years post qualification experience in a practice environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to supervise and mentor junior staff.
• Motivated self-starter with ambition to progress in your career.
• Experience managing office budgets.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Experienced in all aspects of Irish Taxation.

Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day office operations with scheduling client assignments and reporting to the Regional Manager.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff.
• Approving and management of office budgets.
• Managing own block of clients annually and developing strong client relationships while progressing growth strategy.
• Personal and corporate tax returns for farmers, businesses and companies.
