Job summary

FDC Group, Ltd. in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, is seeking a Senior Qualified Accountant to join our local team. You will oversee audits, accounting tasks and tax work for diverse clients, delivering high-quality results with strong client relations.

The ideal candidate has extensive Irish taxation experience, solid technical accounting knowledge, and 5+ years PQE. A proactive, mentoring mindset and excellent time management are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with sole traders and companies across industries.
• Extensive knowledge of Irish taxation.
• Strong technical accounting and auditing concepts.
• 5+ years post-qualification experience in practice.
• Motivated self-starter with ambition to progress in career.
• Ability to supervise and mentor junior staff.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Resident of Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Organise the planning, execution and completion of audits, accounting and other assignments.
• Prepare Income Tax and Corporation Tax returns.
• Prepare abridged financial statements and relevant Company Secretarial returns.
• Deliver client assignments in a timely and professional manner.

• Organise the planning, execution and completion of Audits, Accounting and other assignments

Candidate Profile:

• Experienced in working with sole traders and companies across a range of industries.

• Experienced in all aspects of Irish Taxation

• Strong Technical knowledge and can demonstrate an understanding of Accounting and Auditing concepts

• Ideally greater than5yearspost qualificationexperiencein practice

• Motivated self-starter with an ambition to continue progressing successfully in your career

• Must have good interpersonal skills, including the ability to supervise and mentor junior staff

• Strong organisational and time management skills
