Job summary

FDC Group is recruiting a Senior Accountant/Manager for our Claremorris, Co. Mayo office. The role focuses on managing day-to-day operations, supervising staff, and handling Personal & Corporate Tax returns for a diverse client base including farmers and businesses.

You will oversee budgets, nurture client relationships, and contribute to strategic growth while delivering high-quality consultancy services and timely client deliverables.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years post-qualification experience in practice.
• Experience with Irish taxation.
• Ability to supervise junior staff.
• Experience managing office budgets.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage the office day-to-day operations, schedule client assignments, and report to the Regional Manager.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff.
• Approve and manage office budgets.
• Oversee own block of clients and drive growth strategy while maintaining strong relationships.
• Prepare Personal & Corporate Tax returns for farmers, businesses and companies.
• Deliver consultancy assignments as needed.
• Ensure client work is delivered promptly and professionally.

Responsibilities:

Candidate Profile:

• Must havestronginterpersonaland communicationskills, including the ability to supervise and mentor junior staff

• Greater than7yearspost qualificationexperience
